Watch out for the Panda I guess...

I'll be descret Mamba, it'll go down like this...

Drink a sixer of Rouge "Dead Guy" ale, walk into your weight facility lobby room, sit down on 1 of those comfortable couches you posted on here, cross my legs, begin that wet warm-n-fuzzy feeling until I'm finished. Walk into the locker room for a quick pre-game shower...new clothes and some more tailgating. All the while watching out for the panda bear.

Yes.

It was originally "The red line", but eventually got changed to Crimson Tide because of a game against Auburn that ended in a 6-6 tie because Alabama held them. Some writer thing that stuck. Alabama has alot of red mud in the state.

The Elephant comes from a fan yelling - hold your horses, here come the elephants in terms of describing the team as being huge etc. Wade Wallace was the coach at the time, and he would start the 2nd string against teams, then bring in the 1st team. The 1st team coming out being much bigger/stronger etc.

Or so the legends go anyway.

That's pretty cool

His posture reminds me of George "The Animal" Steele.

All I know, is come late November this year @ the Civil...I'm going to urinate on something Phill bought the UO!

HA!

Do what many fellow Huskies and myself do any time the Yucks are playing. Throw bags of rubber ducks in the urinal troughs. I even did it at Auschwitz stadium last time I was down there right before game time. Priceless.

that was u huh fuckface? Saw it at Fusky's mistake by the lake. But heard about it at Autzen.

And for the record, we dont have urinal troughs like your shitty stadium. We have individual pissers.

We prefer not to rub our peckers like you fhegs up there.

So either you are lying or just heard someone did it and are taking credit...

Uncle Phil just dropped 8 mil into this as well

via Register Guard of Eugene

For now, let’s call it Phil Knight’s instant forest.
Whether the sportswear tycoon will give it a name is unclear, but he does own naming rights to the transformation taking place on the north wall of Autzen Stadium, which is comprised of a 3½-story tall earthen berm.
As the work proceeds, contractors will bring in 39 live, mature Douglas fir, incense cedar, coast redwood, giant sequoia, western red cedar and Canadian hemlock trees, all 35 to 40 feet tall. The trees will come complete with root balls 6 to 8 feet in diameter and 5 or 6 feet tall.
Hundreds of additional 6- to 15-foot-tall saplings are marked out in project plans submitted to the Eugene planning department, including 76 more Douglas fir, 115 vine maple and 12 western red cedar.
The trees will go next to 20-foot concrete pathways that will be built to switchback up the side of the berm. A pair of 150-long artificial streams with moss-covered basalt stones will trickle alongside.
The project has been dubbed “Zen North” by its designers.
Think of Autzen’s north side as a new Skinner’s or Spencer Butte — complete with the stillness of tall trees.

So does that mean the end zones run East to West? Georgia is like that but all the other stadiums I have been to run North to South.

Husky Stadium runs east to west, but that's because it sits on lake washington and it was faced that way for the view. Makes for some crazy bad shadows during sunny games. Not ideal for sure.

I saw a picture of the stadium on another thread and it was impressive looking over the lake.

We suck at football so look at this great view?

Reminds me of the cubs and their "it's a great experience at Wrigley". :bawling:
