My husband said it didn't look like a compound fracture and if that's true he should be able to play by then end of reg season.

None of us really have any clue what the specific injury was. It looked horrific though.

At work, I could see stab wounds, protruding organs, blood, death and it's nothing.

That injury looked beyond brutal. I seriously doubt he's back this season.

It took me a moment to register his foot was the wrong direction.

I almost threw up.

Oh no. Up close that looks like his entire foot is detached & still in the shoe - only thing keeping them attached is the sock. Goodness - I hope that's not the case - and hope his ankle is in tact.
