Botchford in the cesspool (perhaps lost a bet and pulled game of thrones references into almost the entire segment - lol)

on Kerfoot:
"perhaps the Canucks arent the best team for Kerfoot ... or the Rangers ... maybe its Utica ... this player is not a fire breathing dragon the size of BC Place. Then again, hes not Theon Greyjoy either" :pound:

oh yeah, I was going to add that one as well, but was having issues with my work computer....then I just plain forgot after another pointless, mind-numbing meeting.

Can we just simplify this to, "fuck Jimmy Vesey"?

And fuck Jeff Carter.

How about we just abolish the draft and let grown men decide for themselves where they want to be employed like the rest of society does?

And maximum contract length is one year at the end of which they are UFA again. 235,000 cap in Canadian Dollars.

We're putting the new cover sheets on the TPS reports. Did you get that memo?

We're playing right into the media's hands by even giving it this much discussion lol.

Never forget:

Guys who play 4 years of college (enough to make them UFA) are generally not top notch NHL prospects. There are obviously some exceptions but not that many. If you haven't dominated in US college hockey in 3 years by age 21 I don't like your prospects.

Kerfoot is likely going to be a fringe player in the NHL. Let him choose where to flop.

3.7 is a bit much as it could make it tough to add guys at the trade deadline (yes, I'm assuming the Flames will be in playoff contention haha). Also, speaking of Sam Bennett, he needs a new bridge contract as well.

Jagr's going to be a very good fit with the Flames. 3.7 million seems a bit steep for him though.

did they really need to give him 3.7 ???? it sounded like there was little interest around the league and he may have had to go back to europe if he wanted to play :noidea:

It's just a rumo(u)r at this point, but I think there is a little fire with this smoke.

It's something big. I believe it's over $5M for the two years after he retires.
