Unless he’s received US citizenship during his career, he shouldn’t do it. It’s one thing if it’s your flag/anthem, completely another if it’s a country you’re a guest in.

I would lose all respect for Ward (and as a Caps fan, I've got a lot of it...) if he does this. It would be the complete definition of attention seeking and I pegged him for being far too intelligent for that. To even be considering it, I guess he's not as smart as I figured.

Or is "police brutality" and "race wage inequality" or whatever the fuck this NFL shit is about, prevalent in Canada too?

Jordan Nolan to Buffalo is a pretty great move.

Any time there's a chance for Ted to return to Buffalo, I'm in.

Would he take a knee for both the American and Canadian anthem? I mean, Joel himself has stated that he has experienced racism in both countries. Can you imagine the reaction from Grapes?
The thing for me is the NFL guys etc. aren’t kneeling in protest of racism, they’re kneeling in protest of systemic racism. I don’t think there’s much of an argument that Canada is systemically racist towards black people.

Jordan Nolan can be a nasty piece of business, the Sabres just got a lot tougher to play against.
I'm glad he's out of the west.
He's a dangerous player (not a compliment)

Lots of gnashing of teeth and hand wringing in Habs land these days. Wait until the actual season starts :D

Got to wonder if Anderson could be packaged along with Ryan Murray and a 2018 1st for Matt Duchene?

Seems like an overpayment to me for Duchene.
I know we're beating a dead horse at this point but a 3rd liner and a 2nd pair d-man along with what will probably be a 1st rounder in the 20s?

Anyway, since I figure if they were willing to do a deal like that for Duchene it would've been done by now STL is probably a good bet now with Fabbri out.

Reports are swirling that the Blues are also looking at Jagr.

Armstrong said so himself.

Be a pretty good fit if you ask me (if Jagr wants to play, it almost has to be a western team).

St. Loo has to do something, they have been decimated by injuries and the season hasn't even started yet.
