That Indiana game he wasn't very good. Outside of the Va Tech game that was his worst performance. If you adjust it based on opponent it was his worst game of the season(Va Tech is obviously better than IU).
We're just going to have to agree to disagree.

25/35 (71.4% comp), 302 yards, 4TD/2INT with another 78 yards on the ground is a damn good game regardless of opponent. Am I missing something?

Even if all three go after this year (HIGHLY unlikely JT leaves, even if he wins the starting job), we will be fine. We are still loaded at the skill position spots and have 3 other QBs that are very capable of running this offense. People also have seemingly forgotten about Stephen Collier, a guy that Urban has always been very high on.
I've read a lot of good things about Collier. I'm really surprised he hasn't transferred.

And those numbers are somewhat inflated due to late scores. He had a decent stat line in the traditional sense, but he wasn't very good that day. The efficiency numbers back that up.

He seems to be very loyal to the team. We were very loyal to him during recruiting - if you recall we accepted his commitment even though we were still in the running for the much higher rated Brandon Harris, a move that may have actually cost us his commitment.

I'd say that is also a big reason of why it was a pretty good day. It was an off day for the entire team, and he was a big part of the effort that allowed OSU to open it up late and get the win.

But he was also the reason it was a close game for 3 quarters as well, against one of the worst defenses in FBS. Overall he wasn't that good.

Honest question.

If Braxton doens't get hurt last year, does tOSU win the title?

Absolutely not. Alabama already admitted their game plan was critically flawed because of Cardale.

That question is hardly debatable in my opinion.

That's a great question.

Never thought of it.

Maybe the xBrax injury was an ohio blessing.

Maybe if xBrax plays they go undefeated all the way through.

 I will have to ponder this one.

Well, that, plus the fact that Ohio State is 1-455 in internet fantasy games never played. They did beat App State the week after Xichigan lost to them in real life. Otherwise, OSU is o-fer.

Damn, chill out man. Barrett is really, really good(I said as much on pg 2 of this thread) He happened to play bad against Indiana. Which along with Va Tech were his only 2 below average/bad games of the entire year. Which is impressive considering he was a RS Freshman last year.

I hope you didn't waste to much time looking for articles to support something I agree with you on, because it was a complete waste of time.

Sorry if I misunderstood that you were only talking about Indiana.

Well if Alabama admitted it then it must be the true.

These QB's better enjoy college since none of them are headed to the next level.

Jones is a great pro prospect, and he has the talent, physical presence, and experience to excel. Miller will play a position other than QB at the pro level. The jury is still out on Barrett, IMO.

The best pro prospect has nothing to do with who will/should start for tOSU.

Pro and college are a different game.

I was responding to an earlier post--I quoted it so that you would know that.

Overall (meaning the entire game), he was fantastic. He had a hot start, went into a lull, and then snapped out of it. Games aren't played for 3 quarters. He snapped out of it and had a fantastic 4th quarter. It isn't fair to just cherry-pick parts of a game that he wasn't that good and use it to rate his entire game.
