Correct but if its the difference in keeping or losing Lawrence I say bye to Dez. And I've been on Dez's side more than most.

I'll go back to my original thoughts. Dez does not earn his cap hit (not even close) and in a cap world that hurts. But this team with T Will, Beasley, Witten and a draft pick or two on the field most of the time is just not going to fare very well. So I'm all for cutting Dez as long as someone can give me a scenario in which it makes our team better. IMO Lawrence is no doubt on this team with or without Dez. Hitchens could be another story.

Agree, but if it comes to the FT on DLaw the team has no cap space for the draft picks without some contract redo's.
Dez has said he can't see himself playing anywhere but Dallas, so maybe he's open to a mild pay cut.
I know one thing if he takesva paycut and out performs it Jerry will reward him.
