I honestly know very little about NCAA by-laws and i also know that nike/jordan are the official equipment supplier for unc. The part that is a little sketchy IMO is that Jordan is only willing to supply the shoes if they make the final four. It seems to me like that is a gift based on performance. It is also a little iffy that jordan says " i give you anything you want". IDK and really arent that concerned but the whole conversation seemed to border on breaking NCAA rules.

I like how a team that has never been over .500 in ACC play all of a sudden comes and wins the national championship. So they would have had to of not only beaten VT and run the table in ACC play (since VT was undefeated in play), but then jump Oregon and Auburn.

If that's not some Butch spin, I don't know what is. In a way, this season was a blessing for him because he can use the excuse with recruits that "well we had national championship talent but they were ineligible, so if you come here we can build more national championship talent." It took all the pressure off to actually prove it since we know he is a lousy game manager and probably would have blown the opportunity. There's a reason why UNC can't finish over .500 in the ACC.

The fact is they weren't going to miraculously go undefeated like that. Yet they play it off to say they had the talent, even though they cheated to get talent there. The guy is a spin master.

I know the owners of Kluge. Good deal fir them but the winery business is very hard in Virginia, just to break even. My family owns a winery. We still aren't in the black and we are 15 years in.
