Ex-Clemson WR Kyrin Priester dismissed by Wazzu a second time

Mike Leach confirmed to the Spokane Spokesman Review that Priester has, again, been dismissed from the Washington State football team. “Just generally violating team rules. Time to move on. We wish him the best,” a text from the Cougars head coach to the Spokesman Review read.

Pair of Texas defensive tackles leaving the football program

Sophomore defensive tackle Jordan Elliott, in a Snapchat no less, announced his intention to transfer first earlier in the afternoon. A spokesperson for the program later told Hookem.com and several other outlets that redshirt freshman defensive lineman Marcel Southall had also left the team.

Auburn officially adds two graduate transfers, loses two redshirt freshmen to transfer

As had previously been reported, Auburn confirmed Thursday that Wilson Bell has transferred in Gus Malzahn‘s football team. It was reported in early April that the offensive lineman would be leaving Florida State and was headed to The Plains.

Additionally, the program announced the signing of another transfer lineman, Casey Dunn. A two-year starter at center for Jacksonville State, Dunn earned second-team All-American recognition at the FCS level last season. Finally, Malzahn revealed that a pair of redshirt freshmen, defensive back Marlon Character Jr. and defensive lineman Antwuan Jackson Jr., have decided to transfer from the team.

Houston the landing spot for Auburn transfer Deon Mix

Earlier this offseason, Deon Mix announced that he had decided to transfer out of the Auburn football program. Thursday evening, the offensive lineman confirmed via Twitter that he will be continuing his collegiate playing career at Houston.

Oregon State’s Joah Robinett announces transfer to San Diego State

The latest to see such a personnel shift is Oregon State, with Joah Robinett confirming via Twitter that he has decided to transfer from the Beavers. Additionally, the San Diego native confirmed that he has “decided to go back home in order to be close to family and continue playing football at” San Diego State.

South Carolina QB Brandon McIlwain set to transfer to Cal for football and baseball

McIllwain is originally from Pennsylvania but wound up with the Gamecocks out of high school and started three games for the team as a freshman last season. He threw for 600 yards and ran for another 127 on the ground but played fairly uneven for South Carolina despite high hopes coming into the year.

Once fellow freshman Jake Bentley replaced McIllwain in the starting lineup for the Gamecocks midway through 2016, it appears the writing was on the wall for a transfer eventually. Now he’ll be taking his talents West.

Former Oregon RB set to attempt football comeback… at Oregon State

Oregonian columnist John Canzano reports that former Oregon Ducks tailback Thomas Tyner is set to return from a medical retirement from football and will instead be headed up the road to Corvallis in order to join Oregon State’s backfield in 2017

Miami OT Sunny Odogwu leaving The U as graduate transfer

Miami’s offensive line is losing a key piece up front this coming season. On Monday, the Miami program announced the departure of offensive tackle Sunny Odogwu, a starter at right tackle.

Despite having started 14 games for the Hurricanes, it seems Odogwu is looking for a better opportunity to start with another FBS program.

Ex-Rutgers QB officially enrolls at San Diego State

Three months after it was initially indicated, Chris Laviano officially has a new college football home.

According to a press release, Laviano has signed an offer-in-aid and is enrolled in classes for the summer session at San Diego State. The move paves the way for the quarterback to join the Aztecs football team for the upcoming season.

Highest-rated signee in TCU’s 2015 recruiting class to transfer

On his personal Twitter account this week, Raymond announced that he has decided to transfer from the Horned Frogs and continue his collegiate playing career at an undetermined elsewhere. “I want to thank [head coach Gary Patterson] for giving me this golden opportunity and allowing me to be apart [sic] of something special,” the cornerback wrote. “I appreciate everything y’all did for me.”

Former Texas DT Jordan Elliott headed to Mizzou

Former Texas defensive tackle Jordan Elliott will now be a Missouri Tiger, he announced on Friday.

Elliott chose Missouri to follow Brick Haley, his defensive line coach in Austin that landed at Mizzou after Charlie Strong‘s firing.

Starting Arizona State corner decides to transfer to FCS program

On his Twitter account Tuesday, Kareem Orr announced that he will be transferring from Arizona State. Not only that, but the defensive back revealed his next college football destination — Tennessee-Chattanooga.
