Arkansas, Notre Dame announce future home-and-home
Both Arkansas and Notre Dame announced early Thursday afternoon that the two athletic departments had reached an agreement on a future home-and-home series. The Razorbacks will travel to South Bend on Sept. 12, 2020, to open the series while the Fighting Irish will head to Fayetteville Oct. 4, 2025. Both schools will receive an allotment of 7,500 tickets for their respective road trips.

The 2020 game will be the first-ever meeting between the two football programs.

What is up with Holgy pulling sloppy seconds on transfers from the state of Florida?
Just a recruiting strategy.
WVU now has one of the most coveted QB's out of HS as our starter and just got a 4* kid waiting in the wings who will be available in 2018 and another 4* QB that came BACK to WVU after contemplating transferring. Pretty good depth now.

Using the traditional recruiting strategies WVU going H2H with schools like Miami,Florida, Alabama ect. for those kids out of HS doesn't work out so well and for whatever reason we have had a tough time getting a high rated QB to come to Morgantown the last few years.

Doesn't matter to Holgs WHEN he gets em, just as long as we get em on the roster. We'll see what happens

Auburn noticeably absent from list of SEC teams Nick Saban respects
Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban was asked about the perception that the conference is a one-team league during his time at the podium on Wednesday:

“I have a tremendous amount of respect for a lot of teams in our league,” Saban said. “I mean, LSU is very, very good. Ole Miss has beaten us a couple times in the last few years. Mississippi State has got a good quarterback coming back. Arkansas’s got a good quarterback coming back. A&M’s always a very challenging team.

“I think Kirby’s doing a great job at Georgia. Jim McElwain is doing a good job at Florida. Tennessee has gotten better and better every year. I am trying to think of somebody in our league that I don’t have a tremendous amount of respect for. Vanderbilt went to a bowl game last year and had a winning season.”

A&M ‘doesn’t foresee’ starting corner Nick Harvey playing in 2017
Nick Harvey sustained what was rumored to be a significant but unspecified knee injury during a Texas A&M scrimmage this past spring. Subsequent to that, the starting cornerback underwent surgery to repair the unspecified damage.

At tSEC Media Days this week, Kevin Sumlin confirmed the Aggies’ worst fears, that the senior will likely be sidelined for the whole of the 2017 season.
