I just feel left out because I haven't seen any movies lately. Maybe I should check with Dondrell. He usually has some bootleg VHS tapes

Yeah he does. You can watch Fun With Inmates in the Laundry Basement Volumes 1-5; but just don't watch anything after that. Jesus got released on good behavior and someone you might know got cast in the next 3 volumes.....

Sicario 3.5/5 stars. Del Toro was fucking great and Blunt is 3/3 in movies I've seen her in (Looper, Edge of Tomorrow, and Sicario).

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo (2011)- 3.5/5 stars. The last 25 minutes was very unnecessary, but it had some very engaging and exciting scenes with good suspense for the first 2 hours. I read the comic and saw the movie, now I need to read the book

Last 25 minutes unnecessary? Very gruesome "torture chamber" method finally reveals the extent of Martin Vanger's homicidal behavior, and his death brought a satisfying conclusion to the mystery. Plus, Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, and Stellan Skarsgård were over the top in this movie. I liked Mara's line, "May I kill him?" I rate this 5/5.

No I liked the torture scene, just not seeing the big CEO being taken down

Holy fucking shit. The Revenant- 4.5/5 stars. Alejandro G. Inarritu. The cinematography was probably the best of any movie I've ever seen. The shots of the rivers and the snow were unbelievably engrossing. It pulled you into the world they were in. Let's talk about the film's opening tracking shot. For THREE fucking years now I thought nothing could top MM's drug raid six minute tracking shot in True Detective. I will stand by that pick, but The Revenant's is second best and a third place isn't even in the same fucking tax bracket. If DiCaprio doesn't win an Oscar for this role, I will stop giving any weight to that award. I mean shit, he hasn't been this fucking good since Blood Diamond. Hardy was fucking spectacular as the villain. I only wished they delved into his motivations a little more. That, and the just decent dialogue were the only things holding it back from 5 stars.

This movie was fucking amazing. Hell, if one of you wanted to drive down to Wilmington, I'd watch it again. (Plus my movie theater offers beer and spirits at the concession stand. I bet you've never heard of that.)

Changeling 3 Stars, I guess. I can't say it was badly made or directed or anything, it was just depressing as hell. I hate myself for not putting out the 14.99 to see Black Mass like I originally planned. Why am I unable to realize that Clint Eastwood is not directing any cool movies-ever. He was old as Dirty Harry in the 80's or whenever that was. How is he even still alive?

Maybe it is going down in price. I thought it said 14.99 on NetFlix or Amazon. But that might have been for non HD. I think they have different pricing.

Prometheus. 5/5. Excellent prequel to Ridley Scott's 1979 Alien. Ancient but similar drawings at different earth locations beckon scientists to go on a mission to search for the origins of human life. I think the story makes it one of the top space sci-fi flicks of all time. Hopefully, Scott will do a sequel.

Just saw "Burnt". 4/5. The cooking scenes are great. I'll have to watch it again to understand half of what I saw.

Bought Hitman Agent 47 on TV ($5.99). Nowhere as good at Timothy Olyphant in the original Hitman.

Wow, how could you hate Alien. Not curious where that U-shaped ship came from? Anyway, since you hated the alien stomach pop-out birth, you'd surely hate the automated, self-guided cesarean in Prometheus. Very cool!

Alien is fucking boring. I would bring up facts to supoort my point but it suffers from the "boring movie dilemma" in which it was so fucking boring that I can't even remember what I don't like (I have this problem with The Godfather)
