Series Thread: NYY @ HOU April 1st-April 3rd

I'm going to try this for the first month to see how it works out.

I will create a series thread for all of our series in the first month and we can use it as a discussion thread to talk about all of the games.

We have Sabathia, Kuroda, and Nova going in this series. I'm expecting to win 2 of 3 and we can possibly sweep

Brian McCann in the cleanup spot, Brett Gardner batting seventh and Kelly Johnson at the very bottom of the order. That’s the lineup the Yankees expected to use this afternoon, and it’s the one they’re planning to use on Opening Day.

With switch hitters in the third, fifth and eighth spots, the Yankees have no back-to-back right handers and only one set of back-to-back lefties in Johnson and Ellsbury. The order, though, seems far less important than the fact that all of the Yankees regulars should be healthy and available on Opening Day. Last year, the Yankees broke camp without their shortstop, without their left fielder and without their first baseman.

I am so excited right now about tomorrow. I think this team has a real shot to do some damage. I think it will come down to our pitching and right now our Pitching looks like one of the best in baseball. I mean Tanaka is our #4. LOL

Tomorrow night will be the first game the Yankees have played with all their regulars in the lineup since Game One of the 2012 ALCS.

There is no doubt in my mind that we avoid serious injuries (obviously guys will go on the DL at times considering the fact that it's a 162 game season) that this team should win between 93-96 games and win the division. I love what I see out of the pitching. CC may not be able to throw the mid 90's anymore but as long as he can locate he will be fine as he has a deadly change and slider.

Our rotation depends on CC. I just want to see like 3.65-3.85 ERA and like 16-17 wins and I will be happy with CC.

I have been working a 5pm to 4am shift for 25 years now. I love it. If I need to get something done I can before work. I am always driving the opposite direction of rush hour.

But watching the Yankees and Penguins on my phone does suck during the week.
