CEPEDES IRRITATED SHOULDER DOING PUSHUPS
Mets OF Yoenis Cespedes irritated the AC joint of his shoulder while doing pushups, a source told ESPN's Buster Olney. Cespedes said he felt the injury after he came back to dugout after first AB. "I'll be fine by Sunday," he said. "If not I'll chop it off and put a new (arm) on." Cespedes also confirmed that he golfed Wednesday, but didn't injure his shoulder while doing it. Mets manager Terry Collins said Cespedes had an injection in the shoulder and he believes Cespedes will be fine by Friday's workout at Citi Field.
