You will be required to draft

*** You can draft any comination of FB/TE/WR if you do not want a FB or a TE you don't have to select one.

**** You can go with a 3-4 defense which means you can draft 1 DT and 2 ILB.

The Players drafted must not have been drafted in real life after 1983.

There will be trading allowed, the trades must be fair and will be approved myself or Ritz.

We are going with a new draft approach. Every team will draft 2 players each time you draft. Aside from the opening picks the 1st and 8th picks will each get to draft 4 players.

Example.

This will happen at the end up each round with the exception of the 1st and 2nd overall picks.

So whoever drafts 1st and 8th will get four picks.

There will of course be voting at the end of the draft in the form of a playoff.

As always please leave a list with directions on who to pick should you be away when your selections come up.

FYI no player can have played in 1990. The last year a player could have played is 1989.

I think it would be more fun with 16 but we don't seem to be close to that so maybe we gotta do 8. I havent got a reply from FaCe or Lethal yet. Maybe Johnny would play.

How about instead of going by who retired in 1990(which would have to be researched on a ton of players), we go by what year they were drafted. Like, no one drafted after 1984 or 1985 would be eligible. That would put their prime years in the 80's, and be a lot easier to research, just look at the year by year draft. Just a thought

Not sure how that makes it any easier you still have to look players up, you can still look at the drafts to find players not to mention players drafted in 1985 could have played until 2000. That is part of what we are trying to avoid. We have already done drafts including players from the 90's until the present.

I do believe we will end up doing a 8 person draft but we would be "better off" with 16 but properly won't get enough. We can just say 8 teams right now and start drafting Wednesday?
