How about instead of going by who retired in 1990(which would have to be researched on a ton of players), we go by what year they were drafted. Like, no one drafted after 1984 or 1985 would be eligible. That would put their prime years in the 80's, and be a lot easier to research, just look at the year by year draft. Just a thought

I like this idea better. Im searching the internet and listed top 100 players and im having a hard time finding players. Rice, LT aren't eligible :-(

I do not want to do another draft including players who played in the 90's. If you guys want to do that, i'm cool with sitting this one out. I will still help with the commish duties though.

If you use Football reference you'd be able to find a lot more players. You will be able to pick from players who played in the first 70 years of the league, there's gotta be one or two no?

I do believe we will end up doing a 8 person draft but we would be "better off" with 16 but properly won't get enough. We can just say 8 teams right now and start drafting Wednesday?

Disagree, we are struggling to find more and if we do it's unlikely they will all be very active, thus we would probably be "better off" with 8.
