Actually just saw a video from ex NFL player Gary Cobb and he made a good point. He said it’s Pederson because Philly has the #1 seed, best record in the NFL and lost a HOF LT, a HOF return man and supreme 3rd down back, a MLB playing at a Pro Bowl level and now Carson Wentz and he keeps winning. It would be like the Rams losing Goff, Gurley, their LT and their 2nd best defensive player and still pulling of the 1 seed and best record... which he didn’t even do with all his stars. Good point.

Please, no G-Cobb

McVey, Dougie P, Zimmer and the HC in Jax. Can't remember his name.

I think Zimmer is probably the best choice, but it will go to McVay.

Like I said, does Zimmer deserve to be in the conversation. Yes, and he would be 4th.

Lets look at Zimmer, he has been there for four seasons and only had one losing season, and a playoff appearance two years ago. Hell two years before Zimmer got there the Vikings were in the playoffs. While Los Angeles has had their first winning season since 2003.

1. McVay, he took a team that hasn't had a winning season since 2003. Not only did he lead them to a winning season playing a difficult schedule but they won the division too, by going to the divisional rival's house and destroying them. He had to deal with his best defensive player holding out all camp and the first game of the season. He built a culture of accountability, hard work, and discipline. Taking guys that were called busts like Jared Goff and a running back that people thought was just a rookie season fluke and tripled his touchdown and doubled his yard production. Not to mention infused a talented coaching staff. Like most on this board, the majority expected the Rams to fail and fight for 3rd place with the 49ers. Not bad for the youngest coach in the NFL.

2. Doug Pederson, the Eagles were expected to be good and they have been great, best record in the NFL. Wentz is the real deal, Pederson now has to show how great he is in the postseason without Wentz.

3. Sean McDermott, the Bills were left for dead, here they stand week 17 still hoping for a playoff shot. His biggest mistake was starting Peterman, the decision will cost them the playoffs, still not bad a roster presumed to picking top 5 in the draft.

5. Billy Belichick, he is great at what he does.

Ron Rivera - getting Cam Newton to play again and not being a whinny little b*tch. Then with the worst WR core and 900 year old RB.

Coach of the year always goes to the team that comes out of nowhere's coach. That's McVay.

Best case scenario before the season for the eagles was 10-6. Going 13-2 with Wentz out for two games (and Doug won both) is just silly. Pederson get my vote. Mcvay is definitely up there though...wouldn't be too surprised if he won.

Pederson.

Not even close.

Only other contender is mcvay and Pederson beat him in his own house.

Pederson also lost 3 of his top 5 players to IR and just kept on winning.

Zimmer already had his top defense built last season. This isn't a cumulative award.

Take away Goff and Gurley where are they after that........?

That's what Minnesota had to deal with...........What had Case Keenum done before he started after Bradford went down.........?
Dalvin Cook looked to be a stud rb before he went down in game 4........Steps in Latavius Murray.
