I think they will anyway. The Packers run defense has improved a little but still isn't good. Akers and Brown will be running the ball a lot, I think. The Rams defense is the key. If they can slow the Packers offense and keep this game low scoring and close, the Rams have a really good shot to win. When the Rams lose, most of the time it's because Goff gives the ball away doing stupid things. Jared Goof can rear his ugly head at any time. He shows up, the Rams likely lose.

The Packers run D finished in the top half of the league at 14th on yardage allowed so not sure where it is detemined who is good or not. I would say the run D has been average but in the last 6 games things have improved where things have come together giving up about 100 yards per game. Henry had 98 and Montgomery 69 in the last 2 weeks of the season. There line backer play has improved a lot and Snacks Harrison who had limited play in week 17 as he was only there a few days before the game is now also there with a bye week to prepare to help with stopping the run along with Clark.

The match-ups are correct but I would have preferred another Rams @ Saints game. Without the 'unfair' crowd whistles we might have gotten an evenly officiated game this time around. :heh:
Relax, we just might get that matchup too.

Yeah you definitely don’t want a banged up O-line facing the Rams, there D line is legit the best in football ... Goff is gonna have issues throwing then ball in the cold though, but that’s gonna make them get super conservative and just run and then rely on the D, which is a good strategy actually for them .... Aaron Donald is gonna need to play though, not sure how his ribs are doing....
Oh the 3 time DPOY will play.

I heard he has a cartilage tear, which can be painful, but a helluva lot better than a broken rib... But you wonder how it’s gonna effect his play...

Smith is underrated but I would like to see QB pressures and TFL. Plus Donald is an interior lineman
