Newbies escaping from CBS post

When the CBS boards ship sank with little notice, I started to realize how much I enjoyed talking/ whining/ arguing/ discussing or just cussing with you guys... and thought we'd be lost in cyber space to each other. Some of us jumped in a fantasy baseball league just before it went down, and a few of us talked about a new site there, and we left a few clues for other CBS Reds board posters to follow on the new "improved" general comment post on CBS. Looks like a lot have come over. Might be cool sometime to go to a game together and put faces behind these names...or maybe not, in my old ugly azz case. If it ever can happen, maybe Hub can bring a few of his busty waitresses to fetch beers for us, or Steel might bring one of his supermodel girlfriends for us to drool over. It is under consideration for my bucket list.

I would love to see more Reds games, and really have the time ... just that I live 5 hours from the Nati. I will be there for the June 8 tussle with the Birdlegs and hope to get to see the Hall of Fame for the first time. It's possible I just might get healthy enough to make a couple more trips to the QC this summer. Maybe a weeknight game when it's not quite so hectic.

I do hobble back to the CBS to check the fantasy board and see what news comes out of the Reds camp. I notice our buddy 99 Rams appears to have decided that pissing off Reds fans is an exercise in kindergarten behavior.

He might be a kid, a crackhead, or just a nutjob deviant of some kind. That possibility always exists in a venue like this. It's a lot of why I try hard to protect ID here...he's anoying enough as it is, agine him showing up at your door. Petsonally, I'm armed and dangerous, but don't want the drama. Just saying

Dunno. He's annoyed a few of his fellow Birds fans, for sure. There are those who think their reach into our emotional attachment to a baseball team is much deeper than it really is.
