I was shocked to see that hall leads the NHL in mins for left wingers? Hynes has to reel that in can't be breaking our new toy which this better not be serious hall does have injury issues.


Henrique and palmaeri have to pickup the slack which is what they did tonight solid win !

Parise could have come back way quicker. I'm doing a lot of this from memory, but with parise, the tear left a large piece that could have been removed, but he decided that it could affect him over time. If hall is having this procedure, it's got to be a much smaller edge tear where removing the frayed part isn't going to cause any long term negatives.

So there are some unsubstantiated rumblings that Brandon Saad may be available. Columbus is crippled by the cap, he's not performing there for one reason or another. Would we have any interest?

He's 24 and locked up for 4 more years at a cap hit of $5 million per.

another left winger..... while Saad looks great on paper, what would be the cost?

hes a massive unknown. his best #s were on a loaded hawk team. so that raises a few red flags for me plus hes more of a power forward i really rather have some skill up there esp at 5 million a year.


i dig that he is young but not sure he fits what this team is looking for. i will say this team does need to add a few more pieces anyway to put them over the top. would shero pull the trigger? i doubt not even 15 games yet is a big enough sample for him to do that.

This team reminds me a bit of the Devils pre Kovy. They're almost there but they could use another big gun and then another piece or 2 to round things out (another reliable defenseman, a Bernier type impact 4th liner).
