Nice defensive stand. Now don't get cute, Riley.

It was an ugly win, but I'll take an ugly win over a loss any day.

A little closer than a lot of us would like. D was pretty solid though. Offense had plenty of yards, just can't turn it over at the goal line. I'm sure it was mentioned here, but I was having flashbacks to Iowa State.

Illinois next week.

Good news, Northwestern did not score in the 4th quarter, so Nebraska is still holding that stat.

I'm happy with the win. The fumble bug came back, but luckily it didn't cost us. My biggest concern right now is the lack of any pass rush.

So we should/could jump ahead of the following teams in the rankings.....

Arkansas, Michigan State, Georgia, Florida, and LSU.

Also, #9 Washington is still playing on the road at Arizona right now in a tight one.

But Nebraska right now is looking to move up to around #15.

Personally, I don't know if we're a top 25 team.

Just looking at the opponents we've faced thus far......it's hard to tell. We might be a top 50 team for all we know.

So Arkansas, Michigan State, Georgia, Florida, and LSU will all fall behind us in the polls.

The only question is, will Ole Miss manage to jump us with 2 losses?

We will either be #15 or #16 tomorrow. It's been a while since we've been up that high.

I was watching that CU/Michigan game last week while watching the Neb/Oregon game, and CU looked amazing on both sides of the ball. If their QB didn't get hurt, they would have likely continued to roll Michigan.

I didn't watch the CU/Oregon game, but I was checking it religiously on my phone and one of the stats that really stood out was the CU quarterback attempts/completions..... I'm pretty sure he only had one incomplete passes in the first half alone. Maybe two. He did finish 23/32, but I think Oregon finall must have started to figure him out at the very end.

I hate to say it, but I think CU is actually good. Makes me sad, because I actually drove through Boulder today on the way back from a camping trip and I could probably count 100 hippies to every one CU fan.

We left 14 pts out there easily if not more, we'll limp in the top 20 just how the other teams got there so I have no conscious.
TA is having his best year so far, I would have never predicted the level he's playing at right now, he can't do it all by himself even though he has been, so I appreciate that
