also Becks routes just don't have great design. I mean they would against a Jr High team but not against the likes of MSU. some of it, might also be Tommy's progression, he again, just gets so locked in on guys. Missed a wide open Moore for a TD, where we settled for a FG. Missed Westerkamp sitting in the perfect spot in a zone.

Tommy needs to work on his progressions. Our WRs also need to figure their routes out. We have more balls thrown to completely wide open field and receivers running into each other than any team I've seen.

in general short crossing routes over the middle are lacking by Beck. see teams use them all the time against us and their WRs are open, but we never attempt it.

We didn't throw at a TE one time that I recall, good observation
i think there was 1 to Cotton. he dropped it due to hit from the Safety, we also targeted our FB, like twice with 1 catch. if i recall correctly.

oh and that 1 TE target was nearer the sideline not really over the middle like I am suggesting.

Some fault is play calling déjà vu but TA was missing badly at the short game especially with the RB WB pass out of the backfield in the flat, those are bread and butter throws he should be making in the dark, as stupid as it sounds I serioulsy think this damn rain spotted visor was messing with his perception
Not all QB to blame here but AA having like 20 yds for the game is just beyond way more mother fuckers I can type consecutively

I watched that over again a few times and just can't figure out why a college receiver can't hold onto the ball in this situation. He had what appeared to look like a good hold of the ball initially.
