Nebraska gets no love in the Coaches Poll

That very well could happen too without it involving the SEC, Oregon and MSU and or Notre Dame and FSU.

I guess I can find it acceptable if those teams faced very early on in the season.. but overall, I still prefer trying to keep teams out that have already played.

I disagree. A 1 loss SEC West team such as Auburn will be much more deserving than a 1 loss team from any other conference. It will be reflected by the SOS.

We shall see. Most of the quality wins a team like Auburn would have at that point will be over 3/4 loss teams with a few over 2 loss teams. The same will be true for a team like Oregon. The only difference will be that the teams Auburn beats will be ranked higher in the polls. Thats when we will se if the committee uses the polls to determine stuff. Itll be interesting to say the least especially if a 12-1 P12 champion or even title game loser in Oregon would be left out in favor of a 11-1 Auburn ( hypotheitcally)

MSU and Notre Dame are two teams outside the SEC I could easily see getting in with 1 loss and the benefit of the doubt.

MSU has an outside shot IF they win the B10, run the table convincingly and theya rent up against a 1 loss SEC team or 1 loss P12 team for the last spot.

I have other reasons too... games like FSU vs UF back in 96. FSU beats UF half way through the season and then has to face UF again in a bowl game. This time UF wins and gets the NC.. NO way that's fair.

9 or 10 wins a year for 6 years. One of the greatest programs of all time. 5 time National Champs. Owned the SEC for years. Still have an outstanding record over them renewed by a win over one of their flagships in Georgia last year.
