Extremely underrated FNM song. God I love this band so much.

Loved that song from The Real Thing. I used to listen to blocks from that album, but there was always room to listen to that song as a standalone.

Trent Reznor is the man. I love how most of my favorite musicians are vocalists (well that is their main role).

Mike Patton, Trent Reznor, Maynard Keenan and Chino Moreno are some of my favorite musicians. Either way, here is some new material from Trent Reznor and his (sexy) wife's project How To Destroy Angels. Pretty good trip hoppy type stuff.

I'm gonna have to listen to the new tracks soon. I downloaded them a day or two ago when they were first available. $5. I think their first EP is still available for free, and I really liked 'The Space In Between' from that one. Some NIN fans might quip, but I like that Trent is constantly stretching himself and not staying boxed up.

Patton and Trent are amazing. You ever listen to Peeping Tom?

I really hope Patton does another release under this project. I love this album so much.

If you dig original music, check these fuckers out. No clue how I stumbled upon these guys, but this shit is pretty kick ass. It's like The Mars Volta had sex with Coheed and Cambria or some shit and added horns.

Just press play.

hell yeah dude, that rocked...your description is pretty spot on too, lol

The only side projects I've listened to of Patton's are Mr. Bungle and Tomahawk. I bought his 'Vs the Executioners' cd years ago, but haven't gotten around to listening to it. Never heard of Peeping Tom, but given Patton's history I'd check it out. Another guy who won't allow himself to get pigeonholed.

You're missing out. He is one busy fuddamucka. Check out his record label, it's where he releases most of his stuff. He's been doing some movie scores lately.

Ipecac Recordings

Also, Tomahawk is about to come out with a new album. This single is a little poppy, but the rest of the album is supposed to be good ol' Tomahawk.

He also has a project called Mondo Cane where he does recreations of old Italian pop tunes with an orchestra. It's pretty awesome.

Oh, I know! The last thing I'd listened to was Mit Gas and, a few weeks ago, I decided just to do a search to see what Patton has done and got this huge ass list of projects. I guess Ipecac has been good for him, as he's been on that label forever now. I'll have to check that out too. And, poppy or not, I like this song! His voice just scratches that itch for me... he can be equally great when he's soulful or when he's in full-on histrionic mode.

Oh, and that Thank You Scientist song was a trip. Definitely original.

Definitely a good cover, and I agree, powerful voice.

Dylan is so awesome. I feel most are turned away by his voice, but the dude has a seriously impressive catalog of songs yo.
