Well I guess a ground ball E6 is better than a strike out.

People went systematically insane with overhype about Walker's spring. Nothing compared to the insane overhype Ackley was getting after 5 games of regular season play, but still, it was crazy.

I have high expectations for Paxton. He'll get it figured out. It royally sucks watching him struggle.

It's tough to see ackley ever figuring it out. His swing mechanics are so inconsistent that's tough for me to see him sticking as an everyday guy

That girl in the booth seems to be nervous as all get out.

Cringed so hard watching that. Poor girl. Started to wonder if she was retarded or something, clearly just nervous. Nice job by Simms simply ending it and getting her the hell out.

Elias is going to get rocked if he's out there much longer.

Not likely since he's already at 80 pitches, though.

The results aren't amazing but I like in general what I have seen. He had s couple of bleeders cost him runs. At least he seems to trust more then 1 pitch which is more then I can say about Walker

His curve is a thing of beauty. That's the pitch I look at with him. Nowhere near as good as we all know it can be today, and he's starting to hang it badly. Watch out.

YAY SMITH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

If he can locate the curve consistently and keep working on the change he will stick up here.

If I see Gibson get another free first pitch strike on a low outside pitch 5 inches off the plate again, I'm gonna.....do nothing of significance at all, really.

But it's getting fucking old.

Holy shit, a pitcher not named Felix or J.A. (what's up with that anyway?) getting through 5 without the team being down by 5 or more. It can be done!
