Inability to get a run home from 3B with less than 2 outs costing us today. Why sacrifice when there isn't anyone to drive them in?

Coaching...

I can't get over the decision to bunt miller who has murdering righties to give Rickie fucking Weeks a chance. Probably the stupidest decision to date. It's bad enough to 3 dead spots in your lineup right now but then to give away out for that. Seriously wtf

Not going to lie here, but I'd be an ass to the media as well, because they ask the STUPIDEST questions!

True, but he was a dick before he even coached a game and was given a golden pass last year because for most of the year everything worked. My problem is when beat writers ask a legitimate question then he calls him an idiot. If he had said something off the wall then ok but be a man which so far IMO he hasn't. Doesn't take any responsibility for bonehead mistakes which is on the coaching, let alone berated the reporter who asked him about Paxton having struggles with his delivery when Paxton was the one that brought up his mechanical problem right after the game.

And you guys weren't jacked when Weeks came up to bat? Might as well left Sucre in there.

4-5 on this home stand. Fucking embarrassing. I don't know if they can turn it around, but if they are kind of feeling like maybe that's an idea they might want to get on it now.

Now on to 10 games on the road. 3 each at Texas and the Angels, with a 4 game series at Houston sandwiched in the middle.

M's entered the 9 game home stand 3 games below .500 and exited it 4 games below .500. What will they be at when they return home after this stint? 6 games below? 7? Think they can turn it around and at least break even and come back down 4?

The only saving grace I have is that they had this stretch in late April, early May last year where they were complete shit.

I don't follow the M's very closely any longer, but it sure looks like it's the same old story this year. All the pre-season talk that I saw was about how they've now got a bunch of good hitters to go with a very good pitching staff and that, THIS year, they'll make the playoffs for sure. At 7-11, losing to mediocre teams yet again, looks like same ol', same ol'.

Don't panic!!!! Just divide how many times Felix is gonna pitch the rest of the year by how many games are left, and you'll get our win total!!! ..

I don't see it, I mean, at some point they'll play better baseball... I think, but constantly having a mixture of LoMo, Sucre/Zunino and Weaks coming up in crucial situations, the pitching staff and terrible managing will keep them from winning more than a couple in a row.

I normally would DVR these early games on the road but I think I'm going to take a break and just look at the box score for the next week, these loses keep putting me in a bad mood.

Huge turning point. Runner on 2nd Weaks is up gets the count to 2-0. Fastball basically down the middle. He "adrian beltre" swings from his ass trying to kill the ball and hit a homer.... instead of a nice easy base hit swing to you know win the game..... thats selfish baseball.

The "stranding a runner in scoring position" move has been our problem for so long now, it's become a registered trademark of the Mariners in whole, and may not be done by any other team without their expressed written consent.
