Problem with the lack of hustle is that it gives others the same excuse. If your leader doesn't do something, then others can say he doesn't think it is important so it mustn't be that important. I love Segura, but have noticed he doesn't run out balls as well. Don't remember seeing that last year in AZ. I mean I have never seen any other infielder in my 40 years of watching baseball turn doubles into singles at the plate. But the guy can hit.

Good point.

I think with Segura is might be attributed with his high ankle sprain, and not being fully over that yet

Who else is excited to see the Mariners big rotation acquisition take the mound tonight!

It's a good thing having a vet go out there instead of Moore... I hope he steps it up for us...

I would agree with that except for the fact that Segura himself said upon his return that his ankle didn't bother him running straight lines only when he had to round bases. I like the guy and love the extension (the one move JD got right), but still don't get it. Cruz does it more now than ever as well. It won't change so not sure why I even brought it up, but it does bother me especially when I see an infielder bobble a ball, drop it, and still throw one of these guys out by 20 feet.

Didnt know that about segura, but I amost certain Cruz is dealing with some shit in his legs.

Not trying to make excuses btw, just my thoughts.

Happy to see Martin playing well. Been calling for him to get the call for a while now. He has made a difference in every game he has played so far.

I believe one of the main factors the M's did well last season was due to the presence of Marte and Martin. I'm glad he's doing well in his return.

He has above average range, one of the best arms in baseball and is a plus baserunner. I would've assumed they'd find some use for him somewhere.

Can't emphasize how much I really love Jarrod Dyson. One of the more underrated players on the team.

Every time he hits a fly ball, an Angel loses his wings.

No, I am almost sure you are right on that. I want to say a groin problem but not 100% sure.

Lawrence has been pitching really well. Hasn't given up a hit yet and been pounding the strike zone.

Is it me or was the 2B umpire was standing there to call a balk? Wow.

That was a horseshit call. Was really hoping Servais would give him hell for it with that pitching change
