Cano has become a very irritating player to watch.

Rallied back to tie it, ah?

But there's still plenty of game left...

Great come back... Sad that this is what we get from Felix though... He doesn't go deep into games anymore and he usually gives up 4 plus runs during his 5 or 6 innings... This is one of the reasons why I don't think we'll do well in the postseason if we made it... Felix is more like a #3 pitcher on a roster these days...

Rangers are giving the M's a ton of chances to take the lead and win. Still tied

4 errors 2 balk. Insane.

I thought the last balk was kinda ticky tacky... if what they're saying is true about how that was Claudio's regular motion.

Oh my God.... we're over .500. I don't know what the team will do now. They'll probably just forget they have a game tomorrow and forfeit by no show.

Best we've done this year is 2 over .500... Hopefully we can go on a run here... It's all about winning series from here on out, especially against teams we're competing with at the WC spots...

Nice win today...

Blowers was talking about Claudio's glove, but I thought his knee flinched. Who knows.

I've got to say it, Felix looks out of shape and doesn't look like he really even cares anymore. It's a sad sight.

I've felt that way all season. He said that he built all this muscle with his trainer, and prepared better than ever. Since opening day he's looked like the fat Felix from before he went on his dominant run that included his CY Young year. He needs to slim his ass down and give it one more shot at healthy skinny focused Felix.

Good start, need one more and that's another series win....Though it would be nice for a sweep....

These 'comeback games" are happening a little more and more, could pay off come September...

This team has deserved every gripe and lack of confidence that these boards have posted this year, but you can't deny the grit that this team has shown over that same amount of time. I will say that it's the young guys that have led the charge, but it was good to see Robbie come through. The heart of this lineup needs to step up their game for the stretch run.

Yeah it's cool to see the "younger guys" taken the steps to keep them in games.
Sometimes I think both Robbie and Nellie press to much, I know they want to be the ones that lead but it's also good for the younger guys to step up and get the job done...

I was hoping like heck they'd get a good starter before the deadline, but this is what it is... young pitchers gotta step up and give the team a chance when they go out there...

I thought the same thing about his conditioning when they just showed a close up of him on the mound.

The other thing that has always bothered me about Felix (I think I have mentioned it on here before) is that I never can understand an elite player wanting to continue playing for a perennial losing team. It is as if he is comfortable with his environment and that always bothers me with elite athletes. Every player wants to win, winners go the extra mile to make sure they win. Cano is the most talented, but doesn't go to the next level to win in my opinion. Then you take a guy like Heredia who is limited in talent, but does everything he can to try and win. Watch him out of the box. No matter what kind of contact he puts his head down and runs like mad to 1B. In the field he will run through walls while Cano won't bend over and reach to his side for a ball on the ground. Very talented though, not necessarily a winner.

Also, athletes who don't go the extra mile in terms of conditioning also bother me. Felix was never in great shape during his career and that was fine since he had the talent to compensate. Love Felix, but I've got to say it bothers me that it doesn't appear as if he's willing to get into better shape or make adjustments. It also bothers me that it just doesn't seem like he's as passionate as he used to be.

Cano's lackluster base running doesn't really bother me. A lot of times when he jogs to first, he's already out by a mile. I appreciate the hustle from guys like Heredia, but that's just not Cano's game.

While the Mariners are trying to make the playoffs, it disappoints me that I don't see the passion from Felix that we're accustomed to.

O'Neill has 3 HRs and 12 RBI in 9 games since coming over from Seattle. He has 8 RBI in his last 10 ABs!

He's continuing to hit the cover off the ball. Wouldn't be surprised if we see him in the majors before little Marco.

Problem with the lack of hustle is that it gives others the same excuse. If your leader doesn't do something, then others can say he doesn't think it is important so it mustn't be that important. I love Segura, but have noticed he doesn't run out balls as well. Don't remember seeing that last year in AZ. I mean I have never seen any other infielder in my 40 years of watching baseball turn doubles into singles at the plate. But the guy can hit.
