I'm way past caring about who takes responsibility. It's time to start fucking winning or get others in there. That goes for manager, GM, players, and coaches.

I will say that Elias>Walker. I firmly believed it last year and let spring training fool me to swaying the other way. I don't care about whose stuff is better, Elias is mentally tougher. Elias gave up two bombs yesterday and was able to gather himself and put up a decent outing. Walker leaves one pitch up in the zone that gets crushed and he unravels. Just seems like when it rains it pours with him. Walker can have all the electric stuff he wants but until he learns how to pitch I'm back to not believing in him.

Try to envision where Seattle's offense would rank right now if they didn't have Cruz .... Especially hitting with runners in scoring position.... DEAD LAST .... That's where....

Everyone's been saying it for years. The ownership has been abysmal. The upper management has been atrocious. There has only been one top notch manager in team history, and the quality went WAY down hill after he left. And our GM's have been mostly horrible.

According to Fangraphs if you take out Cruz it's a -0.6 WAR offensively. 2nd worst in baseball.

this damn team. I couldn't wait for the season to start and now almost can't wait for it to be over. I know its only a month into the season and that is the only thing keeping me from going completely crazy about these loses.

When is Taylor due back? I can't take Miller at short anymore, his bat is decent so he can platoon around the infield.

I'm one that believes a manager doesn't have much outcome on a game, but Lloyd is starting to change my mind on that.

oh, and :L

Managers very much have an impact. If you've been around this team since at least the early 90's you have seen it yourself. I remember a change in batting and pitching coaches making big changes. Just ask yourself if Lou were running this team right now with these players would they still be this far below .500? Obviously I mean Lou back then at this time. Managers can impact it far more than just lineups and pitching changes. What is Lloyd doing with these struggling players behind the scenes? Who is working with Zunino because his hacking swing hasn't changed and you would expect to see something if they were. What the hell are they doing with Miller and his boneheaded errors? Not just him, but I'm not seeing the concentration in the field from the others as well. He has several players that shouldn't be in the starting lineup. Is he pushing Jack for changes or sitting back and waiting for things to happen? Meanwhile the team is slipping farther and farther back.

Today's lineup:

I think I'm going to go run right around when the game starts.

Since the race for the pennant has hit a snag, I have taken on a new race. A race to 40. Does Cruz get to 40 homers before M's get to 40 wins? The race is on.

And we are off...to the usual start. 3-0. Remember some of us really wanted Gattis? Now he alone is killing us for missing out.

very true, and who knows what LMC is doing behind the scenes. but he is making some terrible in game decisions that leave me scratching my head.

Miller hits a triple then doesn't score on the next play when the astros were GIVING US THE RUN.

Then manages to get thrown out at home on the next play ugh.

I don't see how they could overturn that call at the plate, you couldn't even tell... which in most sports the call would stand. But not baseball. :L
