Solid move for Cleveland. Mozgov has always had solid per36 #'s and should give them much needed size down low. They just got a little bit better.

That's his specialty. He's a defensive anchor and he is very good at altering shots. Good on the glass too... any team that needed a center and didn't go hard after him is foolish.

Good pick up for the Cavs. They needed a defensive presence in the middle. They also picked up a good perimeter defender when healthy. There's a lot of new pieces to incorporate but plenty of games to do so.

They needed a big man. He is a young talent that rebounds and plays D. They gave up two 1st rounders, but they were going to most likely give those away in future trades anyway. Good move right now, hopefully it works out.

Mozgov is going to make the cavs a little tougher. I wouldn't consider him an elite rim protector in this league, like a Tyson chandler, Dwight Howard, or joakihm Noah, but he is above average at it. Two first round picks seems stiff, but with Lebron, Kyrie, and love, they probably won't be picking very low at all in the near future. Mozgov should be good with the cavs, but love will continue to get torched on defense.

I feel kinda sorry for Tristan Thompson.

First he lost his starting PF gig to KLove.

Now, he will lose his starting Center gig to Mozgov....all in a contract year

Bet they regret that Andy extension if Mozgov pans out.

This is a great move. The 3-way NY/OKC/CLE looks better now. They basically took on JR Smith so that they could have enough ammo to trade for Mozgov.

Mozgov can defend & rebound. I would expect his scoring to go up in a Cavs uniform with all the easy baskets he will get compared to when he was with Denver.

With mozgov on court Denver gives up 111.2 points on defense. With him off the court Denver only allows 107.9 points. Doesn't sound like a rim protector to me. They're actually better on offense with mozgov on the court tjough. So there's that

Agreed. He's great for depth. Faried and nurkic are looking good together. Warriors could of used movgov behind bogut for sure. But we don't have 2 first rousers to give up
