Had a thought for Hoops, instead of trying to get the bench minutes, let's give them games.
Everyone selects 14 players, two starting 5's with a backcourt and frontcourt backup for each.
Based on 7 game series. 7 players play games 1,3,5 and 7 (if necessary), other 7 play games 2,4 and 6

The starting 5 that play 1,3,5,7 will decide who wins, how are we suppose to vote and say well I think team A wins game 1 but team B wins game 3 that doesn't make sense. Not trying to be more of an ass hole than usual but...

The only way this could work is if the lineups changed each game.

I don't agree with that at all. When the Finals roll around this year, both teams will start the same starting 5 in every game. Has every Finals in history been a sweep? If there are 4 games between two teams, you could say they would split, one win 3 of 4, or sweep them. Same with the other 3.

That way you'd have to decide on weather to save your best players for game 7 because you might not get there.

I don't agree with that at all. When the Finals roll around this year, both teams will start the same starting 5 in every game. Has every Finals in history been a sweep? If there are 4 games between two teams, you could say they would split, one win 3 of 4, or sweep them. Same with the other 3.

You missed the point, this isnt real NBA basketball how are you gonna say team A wins game 1 but team B wins game 3, based on what?

If the same starting 5 plays 4 times, you think it's more likely that a team sweeps than takes 3 of 4 or splits? And in the other three games, someone will probably go 2-1 instead of 3-0. Heck, I could say that in the NFL games we just played. Do you think Fem would have beat you four straight times with the same team or split 2-2?

I like the idea of changing lineups between games but without drafting too many fucking players I don't see how that can work.
