I'm kinda in the mood for a salary cap NFL draft. Not really trying to bash Milk's ideas but I dont like the first one at all and the second one seems like it would be a lot of work...
Didn't we just do an NFL salary cap draft? Or do you mean using pro bowls/all pros/MVPs or something along those lines?
So, how do we do a salary draft with all time players? Do we use their salaries from the 70s and such?Yes you did but it was a current draft.
How about a $250 cap, no designation for HOF, which allows for current great players.I'm kinda in the mood for a salary cap NFL draft. Not really trying to bash Milk's ideas but I dont like the first one at all and the second one seems like it would be a lot of work...

League MVP $40(only charged once for multiple winners)
OPOY $30
DPOY $30
All Pro $3 per
Pro Bowl $1 per
You don't combine categories, you take highest number from one. Example, Player A was a League MVP, 8 time All Pro, 14 time Pro Bowler. He gets $40 for MVP, $24 for AP, 28 for PB, so his cap hit is $40

I'm probably out for the football draft. Going to be a busy week for me coming up since the wife has just gone back to work now.
I should be ok for the NBA draft though. I have a suggestion for it also. It's just like our lottery draft, but it's an NBA Lottery Bust draft. Same stipulations on who can be drafted, but the change is that you can only select players who have never made an All-star team or All-nba team(All-NBA defense is allowable). You'd have to try to compile the best 12 man roster, no quarters or lineups.
