Don't punish someone by assigning them to me. I call @femurov if it is a partner draft. He always wins those.

We may have done something like this before, but what about an AL and NL draft where we have to put together 2 whole teams of players that played played in the Al for one and NL for the other. Maybe minus the benches. So a 37 round draft? 20 pitchers, 16 position players and a DH?

I had another idea that might simplify voting. All time draft, era's wouldn't matter, players judged on their best 5 year peak. Years must be consecutive, meaning you could use a players 1971-75, but not 71, 73, 77, 78, 79. Numbers are numbers, no era, no steroids, meaning Bonds numbers are his numbers, old time pitchers numbers are their numbers, and guys with a few great years can hang. best 5 year stretch free for all
