No one cares about hockey. Try again, hucklefuck.
Sure they do.

Never heard of the NHL?

Miracle on Ice?

NHLers make more money on average than nflers make.

Most of the Northern hemisphere cares about hockey. Only America plays American football.

#4 They survived Western Michigan by 1. Yikes

With a roster mostly made up of frosh/transfers, and missing it's best returning player in Jamison Battle.

Won 2nd game quite comfortably. Again without their best player.

How's that bb team doing, btw? UC-Irvine? lol

Really?

No Oregon fans on this site are trying over-pimp their team like you do with all things Gophers.

You can't talk shit about Ducks basketball if none of their fans were over-pimping them. And none of them have.

They did last year and have made comparative remarks this year not too long ago. Another bought program of Uncle Phil's.

So... I thought it funny when I saw they AGAIN got ranked pre-season, and like last year, performed well below expectations.

Wazzu boy there is a true moron. Didn't even know that UMn had a football team and argued adamantly that UConn football has been/is more relevant than Gopher fb, lol.
UConn has as good of chance of winning the B1G as Minnesota ever will

No, they don't.

Stop being such a retard, for fuck's sake.

Minnesota's already won the B1G more times than all but OSU & Mich.

UMn finished #10 in the country in only PJ Fleck's 3rd season at UMn in 2019.

Just last season UMn had a lead over #4 ranked, at the time, OSU in the 3rd quarter when our star RB, you know the one, the one who has rushed for over 100 yards in 18 straight games most in FBS since 2000 I think, and just became the 7th player in 127 years of B1G conf football to score 50 rushing tds, and leads the country in 100+ yard rushing halves by a comfortable margin.

You know the guy, Mo Ibrahim. Had 153 yards rushing already with 25 minutes left in the game against OSU when he went down with a season ending injury. So you can't convince me it's impossible to beat OSU. Far from elite Oregon beat them the next game even, the team that later lost to Stanford and finished the season 1-3, and Michigan beat them later in the year season also.

UConn?

Winning record vs ONE single solitary Big East team, and even that is only by 1 game, incl 11-22 vs the now worst team in the BIG, Rutgers.

1-12-2 vs the mighty Boston College,
1-7 vs one of the worst teams now in the Big 12, WVU,

6-14 vs mighty mighty Temple,
3-13 vs Cincy, in games played before UC got good,
5-12 vs USF.

11-45 record vs AAC opponents since moving into the AAC. A losing record vs 12 of the 13 teams, and 1-1 vs Tulsa.

UConn has 2, count them, YES JUST TWO Consensus All-Americans in it's entire history.

UMn's won as many games so far this season as UConn won COMBINED from 2016-2021.

So Ducks fan were over-pimping their team this season?

Due to all the lies you spew on a daily basis it's more than reasonable to question what you've claimed.

Can you back up what you've claimed, meaning exact thread and comment number?

This is your opportunity to prove you're not lying (again). After all you still insist Oregon has never won a CBB national championship.

A little bit let down that there's no comments about Minnesota getting absolutely embarrassed at home by DePaul

UMn didn't have it's best player on the court. He's still week to week.

UMn's only got one senior on the roster.

UMn's got at least 2 players out for the season with injuries.

UMn's 3 frosh scored 40 of the 75 points in their 2nd win of the season. Those frosh have predictively had more turnovers, and so the obvious conclusion is...

this is going to be a year of growing pains with lots of down nights and some good nights. NIT tournament is the realistic goal, hopefully by then they will be playing good enough to maybe win it?

The loss of the team's only senior next year will hardly even be noticed but the return of several injured players and the addition of a highly rated recruiting class along with an additional year of growth and experience for basically the whole roster could mean the Gophers will be a good team next year.

It's DEPAUL. Stop making excuses.
DePaul's better than UC Irvine.

And not making excuses, never claimed they should win that game or would be very good this year.

I endured 1987 & 88, in part for the same reason I am so willing to endure last season and this season, because I am confident that, like 89 & 90 delivered NCAA success 23-24 and 24-25 will likely see similar results.

Currently MN has two OL's in the NFL, never heard of either. No idea if they are starters or practice squad. Not 1 RB.

By position LB is probably the biggest currently have 5, not familiar with any of them.

Most notable player is either Bateman or Winfield.
Rutgers has more players in the NFL than Minnesota.

9 B1G teams have more players in the NFL than Minnesota.
