Mike Glennon is the bar. Who will get the first chance to raise the bar? This draft is going to be fun.

Dude still had 55 catches, 700 yards and 7 TDs in an offense that already had Gronk for five games and favors more quick timing routes with slot receivers.

I personally think the dude is a beast and will do well with Rodgers. The only negative I really see is his age, but he doesn't seem like that's slowed him too much.

You know he'll wanna go off against the Bears twice a year.

That was a very good signing and the reason Cook is now available. I'm hoping my Raiders target him.

I wouldn't worry much. If he can barely produce up to par in New England. I don't think he'll fair much better in GB.

He'll be hyped up in fantasy, and wind up disappointing. Rodgers TE's never put up big numbers.
Actually Bennett was a force for the Pats this past season.

No... no he wasn't.

55 rec for 700+ yards... after Gronk went down, he was a disappointment. Often disappeared in games.

Martellus Bennett 2016 Game Log | Pro-Football-Reference.com

Gronk went down for good vs Seattle, I believe. Following that...

1 rec 14 yards
3 rec 22 yards
2 rec 4 yards
4 rec 70 yards
2 rec 35 yards
2 rec 19 yards
3 rec 33 yards

Playoffs: 1 rec 4 yards, 5 rec 32 yards and 5 rec 62 yards

He was hardly a factor, never mind a "force".

He has the ability to be one of the greatest to ever play the position, but he's a straight up loser.

Bennett caught 55 passes for 701 yards and 7 TD's for the Pats. I would call that being a force.

What? That's the definition of mediocrity. lol

1 rec 14 yards
3 rec 22 yards
2 rec 4 yards
4 rec 70 yards
2 rec 35 yards
2 rec 19 yards
3 rec 33 yards

Playoffs: 1 rec 4 yards, 5 rec 32 yards and 5 rec 62 yards

2 games over 50 yards receiving down the stretch! What a "force"!

10 games, following Gronk's injury: 28 receptions 295 yards 3 TD's

Per Game: 2.8 receptions 29.5 yards 0.3 TD's

Man, oh man! How didn't coordinators ever catch onto how this guy was SHREDDING apart opposing defense's!

You're just upset because he signed with Green Bay and the Bears will need to deal with him for 2 games every season... :D

He was 5-18 as a starting QB.

In fairness, he started his rookie season (2013) for arguably the worst team in the league, and put up decent numbers aside from in the win column. 19 TDs, 9 picks.

The following season was Lovie Smith's first year as head coach, and Lovie benched him for Josh McCown after 6 games....He had 10 TD's, 6 picks and an 83 rating at the time. Bucs were a dumpster fire then, and Lovie might be the worst judge of QB talent of all-time.

I'm interested to see how he shakes out. He is obviously a stop-gap of sorts...the draft will be interesting.

I'm trembling in fear at the guy who averaged 2 receptions for 29 yards in one of the best offenses in modern day history.

I think you're just upset, because you've made two points in this thread and both have been factually proven to be false.

So are the Bears going to dwell in the cellar again in 2017?

It's certainly possible.

Nice deflect. You're really flailing now, aren't you?

Just my advice... pack it in bro. Take off while you still can rationalize this showing of dishonesty to yourself. This is getting bad, and the hole you've dug yourself can only get deeper.

Next time you show up here, bring a little more than dishonest stats and bad fact checking. Backed up by then pointing out that the Bears finished in last place. lol, as if we weren't aware.

Buh-bye now, kiddo.

Martellus Bennett compared ith rest of tes:
Rec 14th
yds 9th
ypg was 15th
Tds 3rd

I don`t think that's bad being he played behind Gronk until he got hurt......NFL.com did not give targets. So it would be nice to see where he landed.

And I`m another who thinks he very well could flourish with AR........Damn I hate that signing.

I heard the NFL was going to change the Rodgers rule of catching the other team with a 12th on the field. Hopefully it will just be closer to hockey with the player having absolutely no participation in the play and a 5 yard buffer zone to the sideline. If they dont, Martellus dragging ass to the line should stop this for the entire NFL. I am going to enjoy not watching Rodgers stealing plays.
