Tannehill in tears being consoled by teammates on the sideline -- thats telling as to the severity of the injury. And telling to what this job and team mean to him -- amid all the baseless criticism he gets from this idiot fan base -- that guy would do every thing to be out there and help us out

TD for the Cardinals and now we are tied -- and the collapse begins

The countdown to the firing of Vance Joseph should now continue - missing key guys or not, there is no excuse for this at this point especially with how they started the game. No excuse

I can see it now after this first play that gained nothing -- we are about to get pass happy and give this one up

Typical fins 3rd down play especially with your mediocre backup -- throw it and run short of the marker. Now time on the clock and timeouts for the Cardinals to stick the dagger

Decent field position to start with 2 timeouts if we don't commit any dumb penalties

Stills makes a game saving and potentially winning catch on a floater from Moore that almost got picked

Moore almost botched the handoff and the Fins as a whole almost mismanaged the clock in the worst possible way

And the FG wins this miserable game.

This will surely be the shortest celebrated of the season when the bad news on Tannehill and the reality of Matt Moore as our remaining option is realized by every one else.

The defense led by Vance Joseph has had their heads up their ass all season long -- now is a good time to get it out -- his terrible defense had a hand in this still being a game late and putting more pressure on the offense and Tannehill getting hurt

Just typical hopefully it's not too bad. Hopefully the D can hold the fort and the running game gets stronger perhaps Pouncy returns.

The team bounced back well after a tough loss on the road to the Ravens. It was a big win for the Fins to stay in the playoff hunt.

I hope that THill has a quick and full recovery. I think it's strange that there was no penalty on the play. C. Campbell dove at THill's legs. I thought protecting defenseless QB's in the pocket from low hits is an emphasis of the league?

THill's athleticism will be missed. He was really improving this year in all areas. 8-5 for a first year head coach & his staff is impressive. This team has overcome injuries before. Let's see what Moore can do. I hope the change doesn't limit the play calling options too much.

I really think you need to take a closer look at the lineup this D is running out on the field. Missing key guys, missing not key guys, missing guys that probably shouldn't have been playing in the first place.

Also zona is a pretty good team the D actually did a decent job all things considered. Three back up linebackers in there too!

Yes, we are missing guys -- yes, we have inexperienced backups out there at these positions -- those are FACTS. Not arguing such a thing -- BUT that is NOT an excuse for some of the less than stellar moments we had out there on defense.

Now is not the time to make such things excuses for some of the teams short-comings.

I am all for giving credit to the opponent -- trust me on that. But like I said above, we MUST not allow that or any of those things be excuses for some of the lackluster play out there at times by the unit.

The issues I have ranted about with the defense is nothing new just because we have inexperienced backups out there -- its been a problem the entire season.

Regardless of who is out there, at this point in the season that crap is unacceptable and it must be fixed before it proves to be costly now when the games matter most.

I mean, it's not like this was expected to be an all world defense at any point BEFORE people started to get hurt. LB and CB was an issue from day one and it was pretty much universally known that the front four was going to have to carry the D.

But how many dudes off the street are playing significant minutes? Joseph would have to be a miracle worker to get the results you seem to expect.

Dont give me the off the street crap with these guys.

They may not be first and second rounders -- but they aren't " off the street" they are late rounders/undrafted at worst, which the Dolphins have had some luck with.

Aside from being inexperienced -- they are quality guys. We even have some quality in our P-Squad.

I said this before, lets not let the fact that they are inexperienced or highly touted players be an excuse. JUST NO! I am done.

Sure the D could be better but the fact remains that Mario signing failed, three back up linebackers, starting CB in Howard out and most significantly Jones their MVP gone. Somehow the coaches have kept it together. When the oline loses 2-3 guys they stink to put things into perspective....
