Back to reality after getting blown out by the Ravens -- our playoff hopes take a hit and we now depend on others again.

Not an easy game by any means we'll see what they are made of. I bet that they bounce back hopefully get healthier too. Need the D to play better so that they can run the ball...

I mean this kindly -- To hope and expect the D to play better at this point is delusional.

I am all about holding players accountable for execution on the field to get the job done - but fact of the matter is, the DC and the entire defensive staff has simply failed to put this team in position to succeed.

They have made some plays no doubt -- but still giving up too many big plays and too many in crucial situations.

Worse is what happened yesterday where absolutely no adjustments were made to what the Ravens were doing.

Like I said yesterday, if not before seasons end - surely immediately after the season, Vance Joseph needs to be replaced -- and not by someone associated with the Bengals in anyway -- not working for us.

I don't think Joseph goes anywhere just yet. He is a very highly regarded, up and coming coach and he is working with personnel that is severely lacking at LB and DB.

Yes I have to agree with this and with Jones and Howard out it decreased the talent further. They'll most likely draft all D except for a few olinemem this year. Coaches aren't perfect but if a guy can't cover a slant there's not much that he can do from the sideline. Hopefully Howard comes back this week and the pass rush does a better job.

Agreed the D has to play tough and not sit back. Nice to see the honey badger inactive should help the passing game and they also have quite a few DT's out Ajayi should have room to operate.

Much needed takeaway from the Fins at midfield from Mike Hull of all people aka Little Zach Thomas -- A takeaway is our best bet on third down defense

Thats what the Dolphins MUST do... attack the mismatches in the most relentless way possible

Once again must set the tone on defense now that we have the lead. Get off the field ASAP and give it back to our offense

Of course, just as I say that our giving defense gets beat by a gimmick play -- classic fins D led by Vance Joseph

thankfully Cards kicker did his best Andrew Franks and missed the extra point to preserve the lead at 1

And then an INT of course - both guys had the ball but with our luck that will go against us.

Then we commit a personal foul penalty to give them more yards

These Dolphins just don't like for good moments to last for long

And thanks to the rain we recover the fumble -- though with our luck, again , might be overturned against us

Penalty sets us back and now we have to settle for a punt.

We can only hope this rain last as long as possible - might be our only hope to stop them

though, again, with our luck it might prove costly not to have capitalized on that turnover
