i agree, both conferences are about equal this year with the East having a slight advantage in the playoff standings and the West having the better teams.

Still a lot of basketball left. The Western Conference 8 seed is only 3 games under .500. I do agree though, that overall, the East looks better than they did last year and the West doesn't look quite as good.

I don't think the East will be all over .500
