No we cannot agree on that Mecca. It looks like it on paper but there were a lot of extenuating circumstances. He was never going to be a team guy in OKC and he wanted out, that's the nuts of it. I'll go on record betting the house no one ever wins with him either, ever.

No offense intended because we are all guilty of this at times....

You are blinded by your love for your Team.

It was a complete fuck up to let him go for 5 million dollars.

Not 5 mill a year.

5 mil for the entire length of the contract.

If nothing else, it keeps him out of the hands of one of your biggest obstacles in the West.

No way to spin that.

It was not the money, you don't get it. Money had nothing to do with it. They gave him the opportunity to buy in knowing he wouldn't. That's how it went down. Come back to me on this when Harden quits checking out of seasons in the playoffs to go to the strip clubs.

Revisionist History with more spin than Michael Jackson.

Those things factored in.

But, He left for money.

Your GM picked Ibaka over Harden.

Meh, it's not gonna mean much, of course I"m an OKC hater for obvious reasons, but Melo is 33 years old, will turn 34 during the season, he's not what he once was ... This will not put OKC is a position to challenge the Warriors who are vastly superior in every way ..

Oh there is ZERO question Harden left for money, that was the point. He would have left for one extra table dance. Like I said, on paper you are right, but he was not a fit with the franchise in several ways.
Okay, gotcha.

All in the past now anyway.

I hope you have a great Season and that all 3 guys stay.

Helluva trade win.

I'm saying money was not the main factor for the Thunder, and I truly don't believe it was. Would Presti have done things differently if given another chance? I truly don't know, I just know he had more reasons than money when he made the decision that he did.

Thanks, it's going to be so much fun. I grew up in OKC, moved away for 25 years and recently just moved back so I'm definitely looking forward to going to some games!

I have you #3 in the West.

Partly because I'm hating on the Rockets.

Partly because I think Melo will be motivated.

Partly because you just can never count out the Spurs, no matter how much another Team has improved.

Spurs/Rockets/Thunder/Teen Wolves gonna be a fun fight for the 2-5 seeds.

Ps. I really like Kanter.

Classy and funny...Please beat the Warriors for me....lol

Most of the league could learn something from Enes Kanter in terms of competitiveness.

Kanter was a class act in his time with OKC. Stache Bro.

Didn't read most of the previous messages.

This will be an interesting team to watch. Don't quite know what to expect though. All three guys on the team are used to being Alphas.
