I don't think anyone is saying McCoy sucks. McCoy is also number 1 at yards lost behind the line of scrimmage. I was sick of yelling at the TV for him to just hit the hole. I am sure that Chip was tired of it too. Not only that, we dumped a lot cash by trading him.

I think we will have a good running game again. We don't need a McCoy to have a good running game in Chip's offense.

I luv McCoy but it was time. He was in a slight decline and if history tells you anything, he would probably decline more this year. He also wasn't worth the 12 million cap hit, no rb in this league is. So this move was about shedding salary, getting sum value why it's still high and the future.
