All of the players he was hoping to sign prefer to play for Arison in Miami.
On top of that, he's still about 2006 when a Wade annihilated him in games 3-6.

He seems like a players owner, but for whatever reason, top FA seem to shun him annually.

Good point turnup. I've always wondered why Cuban always seems to go after elite players but never gets them. There's a lot to like in Dallas, big market, player friendly owner and a superstar in Nowitzki who has said he would have no problem taking a backseat to another star player.

Yet, he has gone after virtually every superstar player in the league at one time or another and he never gets them.
