Also at this point i think its safe to say Mariota is better than Winston.......

Mariota has led his team to a better record every season as well as a playoff berth and win things Winston has yet to do.

Look at the all-time QB greats. Once given the chance to play, most that I can think of are pretty good right off.

After 3 years, Mariota is what he is. Mediocre.

He's on an average to poor trajectory at this point. Probably the least exciting of the young QBs in the league. Leans on the running game and can't stay healthy.

That said, he flashes at times. I guess if Sean McVay went there he would have had a very different year so we'll see if someone can get the best out of him.

Good examples to my point. Look at Wentz and Goff. They are already better than Winston and Mariota and with just one year under their belt.

After 3 years, I think you know what you got.

My Take on Marriotta is he is just limited as a pocket passer, and now that he is running less and less cause he cant stay healthy doing so, he will be a below average QB

My Take on Winston is that he has all the tools you want in a QB physically...Size, strength, toughness, arm....But you cant fix stupid, and Id be worried that Winston will always be that QB where you just know that one bad mistake is coming in a big spot

But id take my chances with Winston going forward

Mariota is ok. I agree with @MIKE75 about him and Winston.

Winston is the black version of Cutler.

Facts are facts. Below are all facts......

**Since joining the Titans in 2015 the team under QB Marcus Mariota has gotten better every single season. They had three wins in 2015. Jumped to nine wins and no playoffs in 2016. Had nine wins, made the playoffs as a wild card team, won a playoff game and advanced to divisional round playoff in 2017.

**Last season Mariota led all NFL QB's with four 4th quarter comebacks and five game winning drives 2017. It takes a good QB to go down the field in the last minute of a game and lead your team to a win and he did that on multiple occassions in 2017.

**Mariota led the biggest NFL road playoff comeback win ever at Kansas City coming back from 18 down winning 22-21 at Arrowhead Stadium which is the loudest stadium in the league and not an easy place to play let alone in a playoff game where fans are much more hyped up and even louder than usual.

**Became the first NFL player since Walter Payton in the 1983 season to pass for a touchdown, rush for a touchdown and catch a touchdown pass of at least 40 yards vs. Jets as a rookie QB.

**Most games with at least 3 touchdown passes by an NFL rookie - 4 (Tied with Manning,Prescott,Watson)

**First QB in NFL history to pass for at least 250 yards 3 touchdowns and rush for more than 100 yards in the same game. (Newton did it two weeks later and Keapernick a year later)

**As of Thanksgiving Day,2016 Mariota was the first QB in modern NFL history with six four-TD performances in his first 22 career games.

**Only QB ever to catch a TD from another player as well as throw a TD to himself in postseason.

**His 87 yard TD run was the longest run of the 2015 season & one of the longest ever by a rookie QB.

**First rookie to have two games with 4 touchdown passes and no interceptions

**Scored 35 points in one half vs Green Bay,Most in one half in 2016 (Tied with Atlanta)

**Has 40TD and 0INT in red zone in his first three seasons.

**Mariota's very first game gained a perfect passer rating of 158.3, making him the first quarterback in NFL history to attain a perfect passer rating in his first regular season game. Mariota became the first quarterback in NFL history to throw four touchdown passes in the first half of his NFL debut. He is also the youngest quarterback to reach the perfect passer rating in his first game as well. No other QB did this in their first game not Bledsoe,Watson or Prescott. Key word first game.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am not saying that Mariota is the best QB,not saying he is one of the best QB. All i'm saying is you look at what he did above in his first three years and he did pretty good for a QB in his first three seasons. He did set some records, broke some records and tied some records.

From his very first game to his latest he was getting in the record books. He improved the team he played on every single season and had more comebacks this season than any other QB. He then goes into the postseason in one of the toughest, loudest places on the road and leads his team to the biggest come from behind victory ever in the postseason for a road team.

He did all this with subpar coaching and playing in an outdated scheme that didn't fit his strengths or what he does well as a QB at all.

For the first this upcoming season Mariota might finally get some decent coaching and a better offense that fits his skill set.

To say he sucks, can't play,a bust, etc. that shows that person is either a hater or hasn't watched but a limited amount of Mariota playing QB.

All he did was improve his team every single year and made them better than the year before. In just three years he led his team from the worst in the NFL to making the playoffs and winning a playoff game. Once he got in the postseason he led his team to the biggest playoff comeback for a road team in NFL history. He has had eight 4th quarter comebacks and nine game winning drives in his short career and led the league in game winning drives this past season. If you don't think that takes talent or the QB doing it isn't good enough maybe you need your eyes checked.

Also on the Winston vs Mariota lets not even pretend because the facts are simply the facts. Answer the questions below and you tell me.....

As far as Winston vs. Mariota who led his team to a better record every year?? Has Winston led his team to the playoffs yet...?? Has Winston led his team to a playoff victory yet?? Has Winston led the NFL in game winning drives? In their very first NFL game as rookies facing each other who was the winner in a blowout and the QB that set several records that day??

Over and out

The offense took a step back this year though. They made the playoffs because the AFC was crap

1957 Lions were down 27-7 against the 49ers, on the road in the divisional round and came back to win to go to the NFL Championship. In the Super Bowl era, it's tied with the 1972 Cowboys who were down 21-3 to the 49ers on the road in the divisional round.
