This game is actually like several we've played this year. Except the roles are reversed. One team dominating but only a one score game.

I was just thinking the same thing. We've dominated the first half of games this season, but only managed to put up 7 or maybe 10 points, only to lose the game on the last few possessions. Normally I never want us to lose, but we literally gain nothing by winning, since a new staff is coming in and any "momentum" from closing with a win is gone, so I'm all about gaining up to 10 draft slots (seriously we could move 10 spots depending on if we win or lose) in every round by losing.

Plus, I think a flat, embarrassing loss like this one all but ensures Schwartz is a goner...

Well.... The flat embarrassing loss is halfway over. I can't bring myself to root against the but they're doing a nice job of sucking royal ass on offense. Would have been nice if Delmas wouldn't have made a pick in the end zone. Setting a personal best. Sam Martin could also shank one, since it doesn't matter. 56 yards of offense in the first half probably means we shut down the great Matt Cassel in te second and win.

If we lose we'll be drafting in the top 10, so we might not have to move up very far, if at all. Watkins is exactly the kind of all-purpose #2 WR we need. Big (ish), fast, quick, shifty, deep speed, blocks- total package...

U guys don't think Detroit will actually lose this game do you? OF COURSE THEY WILL WIN. they will win for the sole reason they can drop like 10 spots in the draft by winning the game.
