I hated seeing all the zone coverage by the CB's while Okudah was on the sideline. I kind of understand the move, but AG doesn't have that type of CB to successfully play cover2 or even cover 3 at times.

Believe it or not, that defense needed Will Harris today with Okudah not being physically right.

No Romeo Okwara sighting today either unless I missed him.

I like to see Chark getting involved in the offense more and also the chemistry he and Goff have at times. It's reminiscent of what was going on with the two of them during training camp.

Does anyone believe that Oruwariye is deserving of receiving any reps from here on out no matter how desperate they are.

Hughes and Jacobs were playing decently until Oruwariye entered the game. The two former both gave up 3 or 4 plays deeper than 12-15 yards, but the confusion in coverages came about once Oruwariye entered the game.

I would have gone for it on 4th. A blocked FG would have been a disaster there. A miss gives them the ball at the 40.

Yea a fg attempt was my last choice.

Once Okudah went out we looked like the early season version of the defense

Big win today, some interesting calls by Campbell, but nothing I would blast him for, and most of them worked out.

He had at least one good pass rush today. I don't know how they count QB pressures, but I would consider it one in my book. He was still being blocked and had the LT in between him and the QB. But he put that LT on rollerskates right in Cousins lap.

It's good to see this team win - I didn't believe it would happen today - and even more appealing is the locker room celebration after a WIN.

Please watch all of it because at the very end you'll see a leader in the making.

Isaiah Buggs is underrated for his on-field play and the locker leader he has become.

The following clips were put on display by POD, but you should see what Buggs can and does bring to this team. I missed how destructive he truly was on each play until rewatching.

from POD
Buggs was a problem for the Vikings all day. When the Vikings tried to get tricky with a halfback pass at the goal line, Buggs burst through the line and smashed Dalvin Cook, jarring loose the fumble.

Here’s another play where Aidan Hutchinson gets the sack, but keep your eyes in the middle of the line where Bugg just obliterates the right guard:

BB_72: watch the nasty hand swipe Buggs puts on the Center. He destroys him.

Buggs isn't truly a splash play type of player, but he surely has been a huge help to the interior defense and defensive line as a whole.

Holmes should consider re-signing if Buggs continues this type of play and leadership.

I'm not sure if it was a "me thing", but it surely appeared that AR-SB was more decoy route runner in the second half today. I'm glad Goff involved mostly all receivers today.

Even on the deep throw to Chark down the left sideline I noticed AR-SB giving up on his route mid-seam 10-15 yards from L.O.S. with the ball just out of the hand of Goff to Chark.

I found it odd because I haven't seen or noticed that before.

I thought so too. Amon-Ra takes a beating on a weekly basis. Glad he sort of got the day off (if 6 catches for 68 yards is a day off)...

A punt might have been the higher percentage winning play but...

Money-Badger needs to prove he can make those tough kicks. The Lions, if they have any higher aspirations, need to be able to send in the FG unit to put the game away. It was scary, but did a ton to boost Badgley's (and Campbell's) confidence next time they need a big kick made.

Turning point of the game. They never really recovered from this.

Badgely received help from skimming the upright on the 2nd to last FGA to end up being good. He was having a questionable day until that last one.

I missed almost 20 minutes real time Sunday of the game and not once during the time I was actually watching did I notice number 95. The snap counts are out

Romeo Okwara: 25 (38%) — 3 (10%)

When healthy, Chark adds so much to this offense. I cannot wait to see when Jameson is more involved.

Against the Vikings, Chark averaged 15.7 yards per reception and while that may not be a premium stat from PFF, it’s wholly illustrative of the difference he’s making in this offense. Of any receiver with at least seven targets in Week 14, Chark was third in yards per reception behind only Justin Jefferson and Davante Adams—pretty good company.
