oregon has good athletes; florida state and alabama have great ones.

that would begin to show itself in a 4 quarter game.

Do you really think that's going to happen?

I dont think it is a ridiculous thought if all 3 end up undefeated. Vt just lost a bad game. East doesnt look tough. Pac is a legit contender for the best conference. The argument is not illogical. I doubt it happens in earnest, but it should

overall that might be true, but DeAnthony would be the best athlete on tge field. Forgot the CB for Oregon, but he maybe the second best

UCLA is doing a pretty good job of stuffing the Duck running game, forcing them to throw. Could see Oregon having as a tough a time running on Bama.

Tennessee at Oregon AND Tennessee at Bama. "The Comparisions"

Tennessee at Oregon

Yards 316 - 687

Passing 138 - 471

Rushing 178 - 216

Turnovers 1 - 0

Final 14 - 59

Marriota and the offense left halfway through the 3rd. Tennessee got a TD early in the 1st and another in the 4th.

Tennessee at Bama

Yards 322 - 479

Passing 195 - 275

Rushing 127 - 204

Turnovers 2 - 1

Final 10 - 45

Mccarron and the offense left halfway through the 4th. And Tennessee got their 10 points in the 2nd half.

:noidea: If i am missing missing another other key factors let me know.

Why would this matter? In a game when both teams could score as many as they want, does the final score really matter?

At any rate, if you wanted to go by "garbage time", Alabama went into garbage time before Oregon did and had a bigger lead before the half. But it doesn't really matter, both teams could have score as many as wanted.

It doesn't. But you know some people will be comparing them. I personally hate comparing games. Every game is different.

Comparison seems fairly even. I would point out that UT traveled across country for the Oregon game, and it was at the beginning of the year. Today's UT is better than the UT that played Oregon. That said, I don't see any significant difference that would lead to any conclusion based on a common opponent. And that's if I thought transitive comparisons have any value which I don't. Both are very good teams, and it would be a great game to watch.

I really do feel like Oregon better blow out UCLA and Stanford if they want to play for the BCSCG. Espn loves FSU right now.

If FSU continues to roll, the media slobbering will begin to persuade the human polls.

That's about right. 1 and 2 are interchangeable, but both would likely beat the Ducks.

You're in the minority -- Vegas oddsmakers who know more than anyone on this board say Oregon is the only team that would be within a FG of Bama.
