I watched the first season of this quite some time ago then sorta forgot about it. It sounds like there’s a season 2 and 3?!! Is that right? I’m looking for something to watch so I’ll try and fit it in.

To me, the star of the first season was that guidance counselor. Man, the amount of energy she put into those kids to help them succeed was remarkable!
She was great. You will probably be done with both seasons within a week, this show is probably the most bingeworthy show I have ever watched.

Gotta agree. I don't binge watch anything, but after watching the first 2 episodes of this season, I ended up binge watching the rest. Did the same with Season 1 and about half of season 2.

Really can't believe Jason Brown has a head coaching gig in a college program. At the rate he's moved around from school to school in 6 years...

Curious to know what he gets paid; considering most of his assistants don't get paid shit. I mean, why else would they take on this douche at Indy? I know they're desperate to win but Brown has nothing on the resume to suggest he could turn around such an awful program.

Well... if we aren't counting the whole "white guy from Compton" thing.

It almost impossible not to. These teams get themselves in such a mess and then they end the episodes right at the pinnacle of dysfunction to the point you have to know how it all gets cleaned up.

Dude has a beach house and 4 Cadillac's so he is currently or has made bank somewhere (it ain't family money). I wouldn't have the guy around any organization I was responsible for.

An Auburn fan would say that. ;)

Seriously though... I don't want that dude within 50-feet of my kids. He's overweight, an alcoholic, looks clueless during their games, and certainly cannot communicate. Nobody with that short of a temper and who constantly tares down his staff and players deserve praise, much less a head coaching gig.

You’re right about the drinking. I’m not sure he is aware how often he was filmed with a drink in his hand. You could see it in his eyes also. I would bet no less than half a 5th a day.

The qb coach was working for free, so some others may have been free. Doubt it is a ton.

I will say the guy clearly drinks a lot but editing can also be a part of that. They showed the scene with him in the hot tub and cigar like 20 times and him at the same seat with the same drink at the bar. Could be conteibuted to long interviews being cut up over the course of the series.

I'm about halfway through, Brown really seems to be going out of his way not to be hired by a program higher up the food chain. That comment about "coaching is overrated" is not something you say publicly, and it seems to discount player development. His whole shtick with f-bomb every other word is tiring.

Gotta watch the whole thing, though. So far, he's been held hostage by Malik Henry, who is like a lethal virus for the team. But the Bea kid just ain't got it.

Ole Piss apparently offered Henry late in 2017 after Shea left for Michigan. It fell through for "some reason" and the Rebels went after Matt Corral instead.

I'm a few episodes in -- it's pretty funny how the game highlights always start with this optimistic music and then it instantly turns into a death march as they quickly begin to blow it.

He seems like he would fit in well at Ole Miss.

That Coach is a terrible person when he is angry. Bottom of the barrel. But when he has a cool head, he is quite relatable. He even admits he has no idea how to coach, and he wins on talent alone.

In regard to Malik, that young man has some big issues to overcome. He needs real help.

Pretty sad about Bobby Bruce too. He's the kind of guy you just want to help succeed. Now it's too late.

He's good cause he can relate to his kids and has been through some of the stuff they are going through. I liked this season a lot but I think the first season was the best for sure.

He's going to end up working in fast food. He has the worst attitude I've ever seen. He just thinks everything is owed to him and when it fails, it was someone else's fault.

Its more than that i think. Even when you see him around his dad he can't even smile.
