Kirk Cousins or Sam Bradford

Cousins stunk on Sun for the most part, but he is not immobile. He runs about a 4.8 40. He is not the fastest QB in the NFL, but he can avoid the rush & scramble when needed (& did so several times on Sun - was just about all he did at that time). We will see what he does moving fwd.

He ran an official time of 4.93 at the combine. Bradford ran a 4.72 at his pro day so normally the combine numbers are .2 slower so he's roughly the same speed as Cousins. Now he isn't a statue like Brady or Manning but I wouldn't say he's in the Alex Smith or Rodgers area of mobility. I think him and Bradford have similar mobility and escapablility which is right about average.

Like I said he is not the fastest QB in the NFL (certainly not Rodgers or Newton), but he is mobile enough & has scrambled to avoid the rush and scored rushing TDs quite often. That isn't his issue. His issue when he has problems is performing poorly in the clutch and turning the ball over at critical times.

His scrambling ability is decent. As Skip Baseless would say he doesn't have the "clutch gene."

Cousins will statistically have a better season, but the Vikings will have a better record.

The Vikings have a clear better nucleus around Bradford than Cousins does with the Skins.

Cousins doesn't play for the Vikes, so obviously Bradford is a much better QB.

I have not watched many games from either, so my opinion is probably worthless, but liked what I saw on Monday night from Bradford - so I'll go with him. Also, as many have said, the Vikes team looks pretty stout on both sides of the ball and that helps the QB.
