Which may mean he won't be the odd man out.... Whoever the odd man is, they will be on another roster... With a limited number of roster spots and a salary cap, you are forced to give your riches to other teams...

His knowing the playbook inside and out gives him an edge worth the roster spot.
Personally I love the guy, seems like he would pay the Pat's to keep him.

I recall one of his catches at the end of the game-tying SB drive. He made a great catch and hadn't even slid to a stop when he was back up and headed back to the huddle.

Not the slightest hint of celebrating....his job wasn't finished yet!

There has to be a reason why Bill has stuck with him through injuries.

If it's the play I'm thinking of it wasn't on the tying drive but the first TD drive after Edelman missed Lewis on the trick play. It was fourth down... He headed past the sticks, got bumped and broke with the bump... It was like Brady knew the bump was coming and threw it where Dola was headed after the bump... Such a clutch play by both... Without that play the game is over before the fourth quarter...

Funny you should say that, not that I disagree at all, but he had a lot of big plays in the Super Bowl where he was open on the outside. Let's face it, his biggest weakness is staying on the field. I'm not judging him... Just critiquing.

AD hasn't had a lot of injuries or missed a lot of time. Not how many of you make it sound.

....okay, I chose the wrong semantics. He hasn't missed a lot of games but he has been injured while playing often. The numbers you posted are not nearly as good as the impact he's made at the right times.
