Jonathan Franklin the Packers running back football career is over

I don't have a link yet but heard on Milwaukee radio today that his neck injury did not heal and his career for the Packers is over. Coach McCarthy did make this announcement today after the last team practice. I guess Franklin did also tweet this same information. So the injury bug is hitting already. Hopefully Harris can stay healthy.

We have bad luck with necks: Sharpe, Collins, Finley and now Franklin.

Sucks for him, having it all end with only one year and what could have been in a couple more years a very promising career. Hope the best for him.
As far as the immediate future team wise, this doesn't really effect us going into this year. He would have been hard pressed to get much playing time with the offense behind Lacy Starks and Harris.
