PSU wouldn't be getting the high profile athletes they're getting right now if "the scandal" hadn't happened. The exposure somehow helped them. It blows my mind.

They're benefiting off of an atrocity. It's disgusting.

It's called instant play time. Few lean years means the new recruits get a real good chance to play early

I think we're overplaying the 2015 recruiting rankings at this point, it'll hardly even look remotely the same by the end of the bowls.

As far as the scandal, I don't think they deserved the death penalty, but I think it was very wrong to drop the sanctions early.

Codaxx probably has it right about the recruiting though.

On top of that, have you seen PSU's recruiting ranking? It's like nothing ever happened there.

Karma doesn't exist in college football. Money and corruption takes precedent.

It's weird how coaches only got like 4 million a year for winning titles and such.

Now they get that just to change jobs.

Have you seen how much money the Bigboy conf broadcast deals are stuffing in these schools AD budgets per year? They can afford it. Get used to these deals.

Who wanted to coach at PSU? The market for that job dropped after the Sandusky scandal and downfall of Joe Paterno. This is PSU making a statement that they can pay top dollar. Franklin probably won't last but now others will think again about giving it a thought because they will pay top dollar. Good move by the school to overpay this bum who will be run out of the BIG 10 probably in 2 years.
