If we were going to pick-up Garrard, then I think Smith would be the odd man out.

That's kinda hard to justify with less than a week before the season openner

They already have a thread going and it's par for the course there.

Though the "where is everybody" is a far more entertaining read if you're looking for a good laugh and a loss in faith in humanity.

On topic I would say with his contract Garrard will likely clear waivers. My guess is he'll be looking at teams like Miami or Seattle. Neither team has an heir apparent and he has a good shot at being able to start and win a job long term.

Yeah, I read the same thing. I thought Seattle was an interesting location but the article mentioned something about a coaching connection. (At least I thought it was in Seattle - maybe it was in Miami where Garrard had the coaching connection?)
