Getting rid of Papuchis isn't going to do a damn thing......he isn't the one making the decisions Defensively....

Bo is the one standing there with the sheet in his hands calling the Defense.....Papuchis is nothing more than a waterboy who happens to know all the signals to signal in the plays after Bo makes a decision.

I've been one of the only people to keep making excuses for Bo and his staff. Today I have ran out of excuses. It is one thing straight up get blown out.....but it's another when you have a 3 score lead cruising into halftime and then you give up a huge TD going into the half and don't make a single adjustment from there on out......and get ran out of your own stadium to boot.

This ruins recruiting....it ruins player confidence.....it ruins the image of Nebraska Football which has already been a joke for the past decade.

Unless Bo makes some unreal changes, including staff changes and schematic changes, he is going to have to be let go.

For right now, I am starting to entertain the idea of a new face.

I thought it looked like Pooch was doing the defensive calls yesterday. Can't recall seeing him next to Bo much at all. Could be wrong tho. I was once before.

RA.....where have I misled you? As I said, I am in no way content with what Bo has done on Defense.

The discussion was about handing out the Blackshirts, not about how good Bo's Defenses have been.

He did not get fired, however.....and I am no chump. So a new season starts, and I will be devoted to the program and have Bo's back.

If and when we return to form this season, I will again meltdown and call for Bo's head. But he is my coach until he is not.

That's just it. You ride the love/hate roller coaster, where I don't. You lap up the off-season spoon fed fluff by the university and media that's meant to build excitement and sell tickets. The practical jokes, uniforms, and Bo's attire are all meant to make you forget about less than quality management.

I supported Bo his first 4 years. I attributed poor play and blowout losses to "growing pains". Year 5 (2012) came and they were all still there. That's when I decided it's a Bo trademark. Like Neuheisal has his trademark.

Year 6 (2013) came and went with the same mismanagement. Bo is not an elite head coach. He just happens to be coaching at an elite program.

At Vandy or Iowa St, he's (3-9) or (4-8).

It's just that, it's a new year and I have to support the guy leading my program.

I don't have time at this point in the season to be all doom and gloom. Anything is possible as of right now.
